Some executives need to stop a trend.
In today's world their are trend that do wonders for this country and the world and trends can be awesome in sports. Though owners and gms need to stop bringing in their buddies who have no clue on what their dong. A critic would tell me " but he has been a head coach before and has experience with this type of system and this and that. Vince Lombardi once said "winning isn't everything it's the only thing" and my point is stop hiring people who suck at what they are doing. Bring in new people who have unique and fresh ideas, Though then I'd hear but he does not have any experience. Bill Parcells, Bill Cowher, Mike Homgrem etc., these guys had no experience at one time and look what they have done. Norv Turner he is a good offensive cordinator and as a head coach he sucks. "He's my friend and I trust him with the job". Look in the mirror Mr. executive just because he is your friend does not mean he knows what to do. Teams are going to suffer if some of them do not bring in new fresh faces with and idea or new way to get a job done. your buddy sucks at his job and you and others are going to give him another chance to screw it up. Like I have been told it is not what you know but who you know, meaning that if you are well-rounded and good at a task. This does not mean you will get the job, you are option B and option as is their good friend who is a disgrace to coaching and horrible at his job. In a way this is like politicians hiring their friends or relatives for jobs when they don't have a clue. Look in the mirror and think outside the box and get a new game plan and strategy . if teams like the Chargers do good, this will be because of an experienced defense and god aka Ladanian Tomlinson. It will be sad if they players actually make turner look good.

A couple of writers at ESPN have no clue
Brett Favre is coming back for his own personal satisfaction and he does not care about the team or the organization. Instead of writing a big long column on this why did the guy not just get to the point? Brett Favre gives the Packers the best chance to win at quarterback right now and the year after that, is just that the next year. If Favre is just coming back for personal satisfaction, heck why not it is not his fault he is better then Dan Marino. retire Brett retire is what people have been asking him for 4 years now. Marino did not retire until he was 41 and why does Brett have to retire early? Oh I forget the national media does not want to see someone who lives in Mississippi to be the best quarterback ever. Media outlets do not want someone who speaks talledegaha being the best of all time. The some like to call Favre a redneck, now a redneck is someone who does not know much about allot of things outside the county they live in. Brett Favre is not a Redneck, people when you say something get your facts right in the first place. This definitely is directed toward the writer at ESPN on what he wrote, he sounds like a Redneck for not knowing all the facts.

Some people are just nieve and stupid.
Ben Rothlisberger oh my goodness how do I start this and finish with a guy dumber then President Bush. I wonder if they both use the same kind of Cowboy Diplomacy and are just after their own agendas. You see the Ravens walking guys up to the line and of course you think to yourself will the be blitzing or are they going to drop back in coverage. When the Ravens did blitz you could tell both outside linebackers on the end of the line with their eyes on Big Ben. Let's see here maybe I should call and audible drop back into shotgun or call a timeout. No I'm not going to do that I'm Superman and know body can touch me. On ESPN they just admit the obvious and do not go into detail, sure you only have a certain amount of time but make things more interesting. Oh and show some kind of enthusiasm for your job and be sitting their looking at people with the deer in the headlights expression. Mention more as to why this happened or what he could have done better, short little things with the time you have. If you are given more time to elaborate more and speak a little more clearly don't talk like your uneducated. The big and final point don't sit their when you talk and speak Talladegah and that uneducated grammar.

Interesting what fantasy football magazines put out
Their are fantasy football websites and magazines who clearly feel they are the experts on fantasy sports. Now that I look most of the time it is an expert on last years stats and giving people who draft wrong advice.
This is what a fantasy football book should have put from 1-10 on running backs and what you should do. #1 Ladanian Tomlinson, he can run, catch and throw the ball now how many other running backs can throw the ball too? Not many and if they can not great ok but not great and their are a ton of backs who have problems catching. #2 Rudi Johnson, now why Rudi he is durable and has a great offensive line. #3 Willie Parker again great offensive line durable and the Steelers just Love to run the ball. #4 First surprise Reggie Bush and if your fantasy league allows special teams touchdowns an added bonus.. #5 The second surprise here is a rookie, yes a rookie and it is Joseph Addai. Now why Indy's offensive line is great never banged up and if you keep Peyton Manning Injury free for so long. Plus the fact the numbers Eddgerean James had be hind this line and Adda is younger and wiser.#6 Larry Johnson and this is hoping Priest Holmes leaves KC. #7 Laurence Maroney, Dillon just might be gone. #8 Shawn Alexander the great ones fall because of age durability and leaks in the offensive line.#9 Clinton Portis he is younger then Alexander though the Redskins will be in salary cap hell in a couple of years. They will also have offensive line problems. #10 Jamal Lewis this man has been on a mission since prison for a mistake and Baltimore loves to run the football.

baseball teams can be cheap
The average sports fan looks at their favorite teams payroll and thinks wow this is incredible, look how much money my team spends. If the average fan knew how much their team made compared to what they pcoket, their lid would blow.
Lets start with the cheapest or one of the cheapest sports cities.
#1. Chicago
EX: The Cubs, Sure the Tribune Company is worth alot and is a big time corporation that owns other assets. Other assets means besides WGN TV andWGN Radio and the Cubs a portion of Comcast Sports Net which is owned by five proffessional sports teams in Chicago. Thirty-Five tv stations, the LA times and a portion of the Food Network, other internet websites and they have their hand in the Illinois lotto as well. Part of the problem their stock price has fallen fourty percent and this has angered share holders. Now are the Cubs cheap? you bet they are considering they are the 5th most expensive team in MLB and are worth 448 million. They make 268 million and spen 117 million of it and if fans want their team to win boycott going to games and they will lose money on merchandise and gate receipts, Maybee then they will learn.
