Some executives need to stop a trend.

In today's world their are trend that do wonders for this country and the world and trends can be awesome in sports. Though owners and gms need to stop bringing in their buddies who have no clue on what their dong. A critic would tell me " but he has been a head coach before and has experience with this type of system and this and that. Vince Lombardi once said "winning isn't everything it's the only thing" and my point is stop hiring people who suck at what they are doing. Bring in new people who have unique and fresh ideas, Though then I'd hear but he does not have any experience. Bill Parcells, Bill Cowher, Mike Homgrem etc., these guys had no experience at one time and look what they have done. Norv Turner he is a good offensive cordinator and as a head coach he sucks. "He's my friend and I trust him with the job". Look in the mirror Mr. executive just because he is your friend does not mean he knows what to do. Teams are going to suffer if some of them do not bring in new fresh faces with and idea or new way to get a job done. your buddy sucks at his job and you and others are going to give him another chance to screw it up. Like I have been told it is not what you know but who you know, meaning that if you are well-rounded and good at a task. This does not mean you will get the job, you are option B and option as is their good friend who is a disgrace to coaching and horrible at his job. In a way this is like politicians hiring their friends or relatives for jobs when they don't have a clue. Look in the mirror and think outside the box and get a new game plan and strategy . if teams like the Chargers do good, this will be because of an experienced defense and god aka Ladanian Tomlinson. It will be sad if they players actually make turner look good.

Sometimes it's about the connections you have rather than the skills. Let's hope we have both.
